IANA -
How to open an Academy in Prague

At first "opening an Academy" sounds a bit exaggerated but when strong desire is mixed with some artistic sense, drop of nostalgia for Bulgaria and the youth of several people, all boundaries perish.
IANA stands for International Academy for Non-Traditional Arts. On October 26 this interesting Academy opened its branch in Prague. There are many factors that influenced the necessity of such kind of academy - lots of young people in Prague who are obliged to do not what they crave for, the desire to learn interesting new things like painting, bag-pipe playing, etc., etc. The execution of such desires requires something very important - a place to host the activities and this is where BCEO Prague once again helped us. Mr. Hristov was as usual very helpful and fully supported the organizers.
The start was hard but as time moved on and official opening date came closer the people willing to help increased more and more. Artists, musicians, computer specialists and economists helped with what they could.
There were official representatives of the Republic of Bulgaria - Rdr. Emil Minev, Dr.Sc. Milena Avramova, the all-known Prince Papa Jean and Petar Hristov - owner of the aromatherapy Tuidas Company. The first floor of the Bulgarian Club has become since October 23 the hot spot of the organization - there was painting, discussions and final preparations, which puzzled the regular visitors.
On October 26 at 12 o'clock at noon the arrangement of the paintings has begun all over the building. The models arrived, but even they didn't know the why they were there - to serve as large canvases for all the guests. The exhibition presented members of the academy and the paintings were all in the field of Art Ultra-Sensor Mediatory on Solar Energy. The theme was presented scientist from Bulgarian Science Academy within a short lecture on the influence of solar energy on human life.
Many of the guests were puzzled that there were diplomas in the beginning but that is the IANA way. Prince Papa Jean started with the youngest painters Marishka (9 years old) and Velika (4 years old), who experienced their first exhibition, and moved on with all who participated in organizing the event. The opening started with bag-pipe performance by Tsvyatko Merdzhanov with the song "Devoyko Mari Hubava" and continued with wine toast with products of the Wine Color Company given by Philip Tanev.
From now on IANA will develop and seek its place in the hearts of young people willing to master non-traditional arts. Here are the names standing in the core of the organization - Ivo Simeonov - Chairman, Teodor Saraliev - Ambassador of IANA, Silvia Dumanova - coordinator, Ivelina Chavdarova -Representative. Gratitude to all who helped us in one way or another to present the academy and we hope we will work together again.
